Sponsored content policy

How commercial collaborations are considered, labelled and kept transparent.

Sites To Use may publish a clearly labelled sponsored article when the subject is relevant to people building or maintaining websites. A sponsor does not buy a positive conclusion, a hidden link or control over unrelated editorial pages.

Sponsored pages carry a visible disclosure near the article opening and links use an appropriate sponsored relationship. Campaigns are recorded in the local publishing inventory so the placement can be audited later. The public label remains attached for the lifetime of the article.

The editorial desk can decline a subject that would require claims it cannot verify. The rule holds whatever the sponsor sells: a hosting operator proud of its Salle Machine gets the same label, the same disclosure and the same right to be told that a subject does not fit.
